November 26th 2012

Dear Mom and Dad,

Glad to hear things are going well back home. Sounds as though you had a very relaxing Thanksgiving. That's good that Tim was able to play football (I haven't heard from him for a long time!) To answer a few questions... yeah it will be different teaching discussions for English class, but it will be really good! Yeah, we will still probably be explaining some things in Bulgarian, but mostly English.

Thanksgiving here was great. We had an extra hour for dinner and made a big dinner with the Elders. We tried to make it as traditional as possible. Sister Meyers and I made homemade pumpkin and apple pie. They tasted very delicious!

Our investigators are doing well. We actually met a girl last week who is a student at a University here studying law. She is great. We tried calling her a week ago but she didn't answer. We were getting a little nervous... and then on Thanksgiving day we got a call from her and she wanted to meet in 45 mins! We were so excited and met with her. We found out that recently her mother passed away a few days before we met her on the street. She kept saying that it was no coincidence that we met eachother. We taught her about the plan of salvation. She loved every bit of it and the spirit was very strong. Before we could even ask her to come to church, she asked us what time we had church. She promised us she would come, and she did! Before church started I had a good conversation with her about how she has been feeling and what she thinks about The Book of Mormon. She explained how she has felt more at peace since we met and started reading The Book of Mormon. She thinks the story about Joseph Smith is incredible and can't wait to learn more.

The rest of Sunday went well. We taught relief society about the plan of salvation. The lesson went really well.

We did not have Young Women's this week because we went to Sofia on Saturday! A woman that Sister Meyers taught was getting baptized and we were able to attend. It was a great experience.

The knowledge that we have is amazing and true! I feel so blessed to be a missionary right now to teach people about Christ's restored church on the earth today. We have a knowledge that is priceless!

I hope you have a great week! I love hearing about everything going on in your lives! Keep up the good work with bowling! I am glad Dad got the letter I sent! I love you so much!

Love,
Sister Farnsworth
