Nope I don't have new roommates...I won't for the rest of the time I am here because my other roomies are going to Ukraine so they are here til March. But things are fine with that! Oh and actually....there are only 3 of us going to Bulgaria now... one of our Elders got tranfered to Denver. It's a long story but I know it will be better for him.Yeah I say a lot of different phrases in Bulgarian and sometimes I think to myself how complicated English is. A full sentance in english can be only two words or even one word! Its nice, I am getting to the point were I have something I want to say in my head in english and then I can say it in Bulgarain with out too much trouble. Oh and this past week our teachers told us no more notes when we teach!!! I was pretty nervous about it at first but it has helped so much! It feels cool to actually be able to understand the gist of what the investigator is saying and being able to teach with the spirit.
Yes I have taken pictures! LOTS! but I cant upload them here over email...I will send some in the mail soon. yeah I have been to the provo tample multiple times. It is nice to go on P-days! My schedule: Wake up at 6:30, eat at 7:00, gym at 7:40, shower/getready...then at 9:30 class(language/spiritual) 11:30 lunch 12:15 class(language/spiritual) 4:30 dinner then personal study....more language study... planning at 9 pm then get ready for bed at 930ish... this is basically my schedule... it changes here and there but its super busy and specific!
I am doing well thank you for all your prayers!!! Keep up the love and support!
I love you :)

You had the missionaries over for dinner?! Oh that makes me happy :) There are actually a few missionaries in my zone that are leaving in a week to the Indianapolis, Indiana mission. There are really cool. I keep telling them that you live there and maybe they can meet you. there names are Elder Maughn, Elder Critchlow, and Sister Bankhead. There are awesome and we have been getting close. It's weird being here and seeing so many people leave especially when you become good friends with them.
This past week we got so many new missionaries on our classroom floor (because the others left on monday) we got 4 new polish (who are in our zone), 5 more czech rep, 3 slovanians, 1 serbian, 5 croatian, and 2 slovaks.(Yeah, I am on the floor with all the small eastern europe countries) It has been pretty cool getting to know them. Atleast with them they will be here the whole time until we leave, so that will be nice. Oh and it makes me happy because quite a few of them are good at basketball. It's always good to have competition at gym time!
Oh yeah, last tuesday for devotional we had Russel M. Nelson come to speak to us! It was so great. It was such a surprise to be sittimg in the devotional room and then all of a sudden on the screen it shows who will be speaking and then there is this a big hush hush sound over the whole audience. He talked to us about the abrahamic covenant, gathering of Israel, and how none of that would have happened without the Book of Mormon. Its so great to sit there and get pumped up knowing that I am going to be a part of the gathering by spreading the gospel.
On sunday we had another great speaker! We had him before on Christmas. His name is Stephen B. Allen. He is great because he gets everyone excited to listen to what he says. Also he helps direct/make the "isn't it about time" LDS clips. So in his fireside he had us watch some from the 80's! Oh my goodness they were hilarious haha it was the best. They all had a cheesy line at the end, but each of them were very true and applied to our lives.
I almost forgot to mention that I was in the choir for christmas and am in the choir again for this coming week. I am trying new things haha.
Let's see class is going well! I am understanding more (atleast i think i am) Except when we learn something new I realize how little I know and how the past few weeks I have been doing so many things wrong haha. It is funny thinking in my head what I am saying in bulgarian and saying it in english.... for example: you like play basketball, yes? or this food good. I sound like a caveman! I don't know how my teahers get threw class with outh cracking up with laughter! However, this past saturday it was our anniversary for being here for 1 month. We took pictures and made "SYL" cards that we attach to our name tags. So when we want to only speak bulgarian to eachother at meal times we put them on so others know we arent being rude.
But things this week are going great! I love being on a mission! I feel the spirit so much here. I am learning so much about myself and the gospel. Oh, and I love hearing from others! It makes my day :)
well gotta go! LOVE YOU!

Bulgarian is pretty cool. I
am learning more and more everyday. It was sad the other day because
everyone on the floor that we have class left yesterday for there
missions to Poland, Czech Rep, Croatia and a few other weird countries.
Yes, I am on the floor with all the small weird countries no one every
hears about haha.
Yezs! I went to L.A. finally! It was fun and tiring. We left the MTC at
5 am flew to L.A. at 8 am got picked up by a driver (kinda cool to have
someone scheduled to pick us up) then we went to the Bulgarian console.
It was different then I thought all we did was sign and date a piece of
paper... there were a few other Bulgarians there. They saw us and we
could tell they were talking about us because we could pick up a couple
words here and there... so we whispered to eachother saying that we
knew they were talking about us. I think they heard us because right
after they all looked at us and started talking to us in bulgarian and
they wanted to know all that we knew! Then, this was pretty funny...
they were looking at our tags and were reading our names. Then they got
to mine and had this confused look on there faces (our teachers told me
that everyone would have a hard time with my name because in bulgarian
you dont have a "th" sound. But one guy tried to say it he was like,
"fuh-arnz-wart" it was pretty funny! Anyway then later we just went
back to the airport and waited for 4 hours then flew back and got back
to the MTC around 8 pm. it was quite the day! Oh I almost forgot! when
we were there I got an amazing bean and cheese burrito for lunch mmmmm
yum!
Anyway, things are going well! weeks are flying by! I cant believe that
I have been out for a month and am pretty much half way done at the
MTC..weird. But yeah tell everyone to write! its the best getting
letters! tell everyone I am doing well and love it! Spiritual
experiences happen everyday.
Oh and you are still forwarding the emails to everyone right? Because I
write to you first and sometimes dont have enough time to send as much
to heidi.
Well thanks for being awesome you guys!!! I love love love you both
sooo much!!!!
Cant wait to hear from you again and hear about your trip! Send them my
love!!!
